Job Description
Duties & responsibilities:
• Leading the Corporate Training & Conference Divisions for maximum profits including personal sales and team sales
• Selling of Public & In-house Training through all sales/marketing channels
• Support the development and growth of a complete and competitive training function
• Ensured profitability through highly-effective management of training projects, selection of high- level speakers & event-related costs
• Create and drive the strategy for marketing and delegate sales
• Work closely with the marketing department to ensure effective marketing of training events.
• Ensure each event achieves a pre-agreed gross profit margin
• Drive through the achievement of targets in terms of revenue and Profits
• Generate new topic ideas for future events and develop ideas for highly profitable add-on days
• Manage sales with Key Accounts and maintain the customer relationship for repeat business
• Build market position by locating and developing new business relationships.
• Keep track of the sales team and handle sales force management
• Deal with vendors and hotels for best price, give away and event management.
• Ensure profitability of events, create event budgets and monitor overall costs
• Onsite management: Ensure the smooth running of the event and liaise effectively with speakers and delegates
• Database clean and build
• Cold Calling to develop new clientele if needed
• Negotiation with media, sponsors, and paid participants
• Head Conferences with ownership of development, revenue, and execution
• Head the sales team for quarterly targets
• Defining targets for all key account managers
• Strategic decision making to increase sales
• Manage travel plans for trainers/guests
• Management of vendors at conference /workshop day
