Position Overview: The candidate will be on boarded on the multisite project and she/he will be responsible for standardizing and productizing the front end Sitecore components. He/ She is responsible for coding up user interfaces for external and internal facing components, website troubleshooting, assisting development, style guide/code conformity, page weight, and optimization. You should have a strong knowledge of best front end development practices, HTML, SASS, CSS, JavaScript, Gulp, Reactjs, JavaScript frameworks and best practices for front-end optimization. Key Responsibilities: • Create solutions that are easy for developers to implement and for business users to configure. • Dialog with the UI manager to negotiate graphic proposals to optimize the existing library of Data Templates and Control Rendering. • Create Semantic HTML markup. • Develop the core UI components and modules. • Create reusable and configurable HTML, SASS, CSS, JS modules and Gulp commands. • Code prototypes and POC. • Optimize front-end code (for performance & accessibility). • Work across devices and browsers. • Contribute to the existing React components and maintain the design system in Storybook. • Work with different development and QA teams to code HTML/CSS/JavaScript interfaces, test, and verify projects through deployment processes. • Update internal documentation when new tools are available for developers to use and distribute the information to developers and their managers. • Build out templates using React for new features and layouts. Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of professional work experience and education • 5+ years of professional website coding experience • Excellent in Bootstrap grid system. • Excellent JavaScript skills. • Excellent Gulp. • A passion for clean semantic markup, with an attention to detail. • Excellent CSS skills with a full understanding of specificity and cascade • Excellent knowledge of browser quirks and creating web apps that are consistent across all major browsers • Experience implementing web security and accessibility • Ability to optimize front end code for performance/speed, and knowledge of React and understanding of advanced optimization techniques • Ability to implement high fidelity designs including building out, from scratch, interactions and animations using CSS and JavaScript • Experience architecting apps for responsive designs and building websites for different devices • Experience building and managing both Node Libraries and React component libraries, and a preference of how to do so • Ability to implement unit, integration, and end to end tests with React • Excellent knowledge of UX design principles, user-centered design, and accessibility • Ability to work in an agile work environment and play a Senior role within the agile development process Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Sitecore as a frontend and know how cr
