Objectives of the Program and the immediate Strategic Objective (Overview of the program): The objective of the post is to implement WHO Pakistan Health Policies by effectively monitoring WHO program activities and responsibly providing risk analysis on the threat environment, simultaneously providing technical guidance in line with the UNSMS to improve the security and safety of WHO staff in Pakistan. Organizational context (Describe the individual role of incumbent within the team, focusing on the intricacy and difficulty of working environment): Under the general guidance of WHO Representative and direct supervision of the WHO Field Security Officer (FSO) who provides overall technical direction regarding security policy and procedures and in collaboration with the Regional Field security officer, the incumbent will provide administrative support and guidance for accessing inaccessible areas of the Polio Program and make random visits to various regions to obtain information affecting program implementation, staff and non- staff security thus enabling access for better program delivery. The incumbent plans steps and performs day-to-day routine tasks independently. Complex issues or deviations from established procedures are discussed and resolved with supervisor. Some judgment is involved to determine appropriate methods to handle the various security issues and to adapt established practices to assigned work. Summary of Assigned Duties Within the framework of WHO"s Security Management Structure, the duties are: 1. Collect, update and disseminate information regarding the security of WRO and sub-offices, as well as all staff and non-staff through the following: a) Compile and verify security information with the Host Government, UNDSS, AFP Security Officers, other stakeholders; to enable proper analysis by the FSO; b) Disseminate security related information to staff and non-staff; utilizing the common UN communication systems. c) Co
